Across the Caribbean, climate mobility is entering national plans faster than anyone can say how those plans will work on the ground. Culture and heritage are moving up the global policy agenda, and language, identity and belonging are now part of the conversation about governance. In all three, the knowledge you need often already exists. It lives in communities. The question is who can bring it to the table, ethically, in a form a ministry can use. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/734496f6-0f62-4c82-9c23-c319fb244b45/Schermafbeelding+2026-03-02+151051.png https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/9294fc8e-917e-44a6-b9e2-318f5d675612/IMG_0531.jpg https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/794a8fe9-7796-4507-8e77-47d2516e12a8/EC2C1494-1DCB-4226-9214-8F3C6A707FF5.jpg https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/277dcbed-cf84-4bd1-be79-b5d2cb971a56/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-21+om+12.51.14.png https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/fe554cc8-962f-46b7-95b7-04be11e6d299/ARTNxTiarraSimon-25.jpg Who we are - Nice to meet you, I’m Tiarra Simon, an anthropologist and the founder of Simon Global Consultancy. I grew up in Aruba, migrated to the Netherlands and built my career across the Caribbean. As a kid, I learned that Dutch was the language I needed to survive beyond my island. I have been asking who decides what counts as knowledge ever since. Working in Suriname taught me that the communities facing the hardest challenges are rarely the problem. They are often the ones with the most knowledge. That changed how I approach everything. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/6dd4d015-ef37-4317-b920-e07ffd3aab54/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-21+om+13.00.11.png Who we are - How we work We build mixed teams of community researchers, local knowledge holders, people with lived experience and university students. We train together, adapt our tools to the local context, and take the time that trust requires. It works. In the Greater Caribbean Climate Mobility Initiative, our Suriname team was the top performer out of six countries. People asked me where I found them. Right there, in Suriname. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/ed69784b-e2cc-428e-9d19-33c2bf109e86/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-21+om+12.39.28.png https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/contact daily 0.75 2026-03-09 https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/reports-20 daily 0.75 2026-03-02 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/7b310502-1eb4-4c27-a7d8-95291bf42ac5/FullSizeRender+%288%29.jpg Reports '20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/1617709612217-QMADAFIRBAM0T07PHJJY/IMG_0764.jpg Reports '20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/83d6f343-26a2-47c4-a727-2d41a284a5eb/IMG_8333+2.jpg Reports '20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/e12a5c26-05fc-4301-bff5-891687ba6a46/FullSizeRender+%281%29.jpg Reports '20 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/6dd4d015-ef37-4317-b920-e07ffd3aab54/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-21+om+13.00.11.png Reports '20 https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/team daily 0.75 2026-03-06 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/a9a461b2-7762-4323-9858-43c8c191c896/Suzy.jpg https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/1629126014252-JMJQ2T1D4IEJTBK8OXPX/cv5.jpg https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/08e75e1b-39f0-491b-9daf-dce3f658f231/48b0ee27-d609-406f-bb6f-931aa28a3d33.jpg https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/reports daily 0.75 2026-04-25 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/b4193ba1-0c72-4b94-b7c8-7597dfa17e13/Schermafbeelding+2026-03-02+140243.png https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/83e5653d-3d70-4100-b251-63d42fc78501/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-23+om+16.27.07.png https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/4d759f0b-f798-4494-bcac-9ed9a6a1c3ac/Schermafbeelding+2023-04-23+om+16.17.55.png https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/b72cb9fc-6056-476f-9ef7-de4d484e8274/D678F8D4-D05C-4243-B181-544A6B5B6C97+2.jpg https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/approach daily 0.75 2026-04-26 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/734496f6-0f62-4c82-9c23-c319fb244b45/Schermafbeelding+2026-03-02+151051.png https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/services daily 0.75 2026-04-26 https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/whereitallbegan daily 0.75 2026-03-06 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/1617782221807-7AVRLNXGRWYCZ81BWQ98/IMG_7790D.jpg https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/new-home-test daily 0.75 2026-10-31 https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/projects- daily 0.75 2023-04-28 https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/projects-/project-three-lhxfd monthly 0.5 2021-02-15 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/a1a99fbe-a185-4b9d-b527-aadec39258a4/IMG_0894+kopie.jpg Reports - 2019. https://www.simonglobalconsultancy.com/projects-/project-two-s7fdd monthly 0.5 2021-02-15 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6000b27fdbafcc509b7dd683/1617709591272-BBD0T731YYVO8RVQ2RS8/IMG_0574.jpg Reports - 2020.
